Professional Operating Standards & Engagement Policies
Applies to all OXC LLC services, engagements, and invoices.
How OXC Works
OXC LLC is a solutions-driven consultancy. Engagements are built around:

-
Clear problem identification
-
Defined objectives
-
Actionable next steps
-
Efficient, intentional use of time
OXC does not conduct meetings for the purpose of having more meetings. Every interaction is expected to move work forward toward clarity, decision, or execution.
Communication & Meeting Standards
To ensure productive use of time:

-
Meetings must have a defined purpose and outcome.
-
Clients are expected to articulate questions or focus areas clearly.
-
Live conversations are used for clarification, alignment, and decision-making, not discovery.

Open-ended or exploratory conversations without direction may be redirected or declined.
{See Brainstorm Sessions in Products}
Client Readiness
Effective consulting requires baseline clarity.
Clients are expected to identify:
-
The issue they are seeking help with
-
Relevant context or facts
-
The outcome they are trying to achieve
If the problem cannot be articulated, additional internal clarity may be needed before consulting support is appropriate.

*** As of 11.14.2025 - Pre-Screening Requirement ***
All business clients, including LLCs, corporations, and nonprofit organizations, are subject to a pre-screen readiness review prior to booking services.
This review includes verification of, but is not limited to:
-
Business standing (state registration and active/good standing status)
-
Tax compliance status (federal and applicable state obligations)
-
Professional and business credibility indicators, including public ratings or documented compliance history where applicable
If any of the above areas are below required standards, those issues must be addressed and corrected prior to service engagement.
Proof of return to good standing and remediation (e.g., reinstatement documentation, tax compliance confirmation, or corrective filings) must be furnished and approved before contract execution and service commencement.
OXC LLC reserves the right to:
-
Decline service engagement
-
Delay contract execution
-
Require remediation support services prior to core engagement
This policy protects both parties and ensures all engagements begin from a compliant, ethical, and operationally sound foundation.
Scope & Advisory Boundaries
Any work requiring deeper analysis, detailed recommendations, or extended advisory support will be clearly scoped.
Ad hoc consulting through informal conversations, unscheduled calls, or unstructured meetings is not provided.
Fees, Payments & Refunds
Professional services reflect time, preparation, expertise, and availability.
-
Work begins upon scheduling, preparation, or delivery of services.
-
Fees are non-refundable once time has been allocated or work has begun.
-
Missed meetings, late cancellations, or failure to prepare do not constitute grounds for a refund.
Any exceptions must be explicitly stated in writing on the applicable invoice.
